| yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaa...i still haven't fully grasped the idea that i almost died...
just wednesday...i got off a 12-hr workday...felt a little tired so i decided to take a nap in one of my hotel's rooms...nothing out of the ordinary...i usually just crash at the hotel instead of going home...but the moment i lay down, the room started spinning...then came the nausea...chills...and shaking...
i had a friend rush me to the kaiser ER in the valley (my insurance is through them)...verdict: massive internal hemorrhage...i had been bleeding slowly to death inside for over a month and i never knew it...the only indication i had was that i was constantly tired, which is normal when you work 12+ hr days 6-7 days a week...
what had happened was that my uterus had torn and was bleeding INTO me...blood pooled up around major organs like my kidneys, liver, stomach, intestines, and even up to my lungs...all my "insides" were inflamed to the point that the dr was shocked that nothing else had ruptured
so they had to poke two holes the size of coffee stirrers into me to drain and suction the blood out...took over two hours...
now...did i mention that i have a knee-jerk phobia of needles? when they stuck an IV into me, they missed the first time...and the second time i had an asthma attack and was going into shock...
the dr had someone standing by with the electric paddles!
so there i was lying there with two tubes coming out of me, an IV going into me, a breath mask, and watching the nurse holding the shock paddles...
ever had that "out of body" experience...you're watching yourself...and thinking...i'm going to die...i'm really going to die
but somehow...i didn't
they drained the blood...shot me with anti-inflammatory drugs...and other meds to stop the bleeding...put me on heavy pain killer...
...and i walked out the next day
wow...i can't even absorb it all even when i've got it all written out in front of me...i survived THAT?...it's kind of like the reaction i had to the huge car accident i had a few months ago...but that was hitting the car, getting knocked out, waking up in one piece, and seeing the damages...minimal hurt to myself...
this is like...i could have died on that table...i was losing too much blood too fast...the dr didn't think a blood transfusion would have helped...within three hours i went from seemingly the picture of health to death's doorstep...
...but i didn't die...God kept me alive...
"thank you Lord"..."praise God"....that doesn't cut it...
i'm still sitting here thinking...wow...

| got bored running the audit last night...so i just surfed the 'net...researched my car...found out a few interesting things...
1) daewoo was bought out by gm 2) gm rebranded the daewoo automotive line... 3) ...the daewoo nubira is now the chevrolet lacetti in europe and the suzuki forenza in the us
i looked up the suzuki forenza...and yep...it definitely is the 2nd generation Daewoo Nubira...i looked at features...interior and exterior pictures...and customer reviews...and compared them to my car...
the cars even have the same problems: heavy car with not enough hp, alignment keeps going out...it's basically the exact same car still being built by daewoo with a suzuki engine computer/monitor being sold under the suzuki brand...
so now i know what kind of car i'll be getting in about a year or two
...the only question is whether or not the exterior is still gonna be as strong as the original daewoo nubiras...those things are nice little tanks...
evolution of the car...
